The works interlink aviculture and seafaring:  Whilst ‘turning on the spot’ refers to a manoeuvre performed by vessels in difficult waters, ‘spinning sensation’ relates to neurological diseases developed by captive parrots. Diverse media and materials, the spatial configuration and the exhibition concept present a variety of approaches to rotation, forward and backward movements and the concomitant sense of (dis-)orientation.
